The Tal-Mejda Farmhouse (the Farmhouse of the Table) is a fully furnished genuine country house which combines rustic charm with modern comfort. This farmhouse forms part of the G & J Holiday Complex which is located in the outskirts of Victoria, just 5 minutes away from the centre and near to all amenities. There is a choice of two restaurants less than 200 metres away. All the beaches are only 5 minutes away!
 
The Tal-Mejda can accommodate up to six persons very comfortably. However, there will be no problem if you are a larger group since this farmhouse can be joined with its twin the "Tal-Andar" farmhouse through a door  from the pool area - which is normally kept locked for complete privacy. A special price will be quoted if both farmhouses are rented at the same time.

Entering through the door in the above left photo one finds himself in the pool-side area embellished with a pool-side shower, relaxing sun-lounging chairs for relaxing by the pool, a gas barbeque and al-fresco dining facilities including a very large umbrella in order to provide shade - see the top right hand photo.

The farmhouse proper is accessed through a door on the right of the pool-side area. One enters an open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen. The lounge part consists of a very comfortable couch and there is a cable TV for the guests' entertainment. The dining area consists of a rustic-style table that can easily accommodate six persons. At the end of this room one finds the large comfortable kitchen attressed with a 4-hob cooking unit, a large oven a large fridge-freezer and a toaster. In the cupboards one finds enough cooking-pans and all the cutlery and cover necessary for six-persons.

Leading off this open plan room is the "bedroom landing" through a delightful arch. One can access four doors from this landing leading to the two bedrooms, the bathroom -shown on the photo on the right - and a small internal courtyard. The bathroom's facilities include a W.C., shower, vanity unit and an automatic washing machine.

The above photos show the two very large bedrooms that can easily accommodate six persons. The furniture is pine throughout. One bedroom has an ensuite.

The Tal-Mejda can be your base to discover Gozo -  the idyllic "isle of Calypso" on the Homer trail, as well as the home of Ggantija - the oldest megalithic temples in the world: The citation in the Guinness Book of Records. states: "The oldest free standing structures in the world are now believed to be the megalithic temples at Ggantija in Gozo - from 3,600 B.C."
